Alexander Reiss, born 1966 in Cologne, is a graphic designer and a communication specialist, but equally loves being a cook, mountain biker, skier, diver, and a father.
He began his carrier in 1994 as graphic designer and founding member of Rempen und Partner in Düsseldorf, where he worked on brands such as Deutsche Post, Holsten Pilsener, Dresdner Bank, Microsoft and Siemens. Additionally he enjoyed stints at Jung von Matt Hamburg, where he supervised DEA Mineralöl and BMW Motorsport, and Aimaq, Rapp, Stolle in Berlin, where he worked on Nike, Heineken, MTV, IQ Magazine, and Karstadt Sport.
Starting 2001, he freelanced as an Art Director and Conceptual Designer, mainly for Mercedes and Smart at Springer & Jacoby, before returning to the Rhineland in 2005. At the cayenne Werbeagentur, he served as Deputy CEO and Creative Director on Canon, Kamps Bakeries, and Daihatsu.
In 2007, he went on to the local competitor DDB, where he worked as Group Creative Director for brands like Congstar, Ramazzotti, Henkel, EON, and Ebay.
Although the ADC member has won many national and international awards, his five Cannes Lions are still his favorite.
Since July 2011, Alexander Reiss leads the Düsseldorf office of Saatchi & Saatchi as Executive Creative Director, developing brands such as Toyota, Lexus, Targobank, AggerEnergie, Mitsubishi Electric.
