Saatchi & Saatchi wins Euro Effie for Ariel stain remover

For the second time in five years, the
Frankfurt office of Saatchi & Saatchi has won a Euro Effie for Ariel
- this time for the launch of its stain remover.
On the 14th of September, 2011, in Brussels, the team was awarded the Bronze Euro Effie in the category FMCG for the successful launch of the Ariel sub-brand "Ariel Stain Remover" in Germany and Great Britain. With the campaign "First Time", the new Ariel Stain Remover has managed to prevail in the highly competitive FMCG market in the category of stain removers, which is dominated by Vanish's Pink. In both countries, previously defined objectives such as market share growth and category growth were exceeded within the first months following its launch on the market. The Ariel Stain Remover range has also been successfully launched in further European countries - for example, in Spain, Italy, Holland and Greece.
Saatchi & Saatchi Frankfurt has been handling Ariel for Germany, Austria and Switzerland for over 40 years and has also been responsible for the communication of Ariel Stain Remover in Western Europe since 2009.
